Registration Information

In 1948, our world changed forever. In a moment Israel was back on the world stage. 70 years later the controversy over Jerusalem continues to intensify. It is no longer a regional conflict, it is a global conflict and it is going to require this generation to answer serious questions about Israel, Islam, the nations, and the gospel.

For centuries most of the church and the nations assumed that God was finished with Israel. In 1948 everything changed. 70 years later the nations are still wrestling with the question of Jerusalem, its future, and its King. Join us in Israel for the 70th anniversary of the founding of modern Israel as we ask how the future of Jerusalem affects our understanding of the church and the gospel.

For centuries most of the church assumed that God was finished with Israel. In 1948 all that changed. 70 years later Jerusalem has become the most controversial city in the earth. Join us in Israel for the 70th anniversary of the founding of modern Israel as we ask how the global controversy around Jerusalem affects our understanding of the church and the gospel.

We live in a generation unlike any other generation. The nations of the earth are focused on Jerusalem. The gospel is on the verge of reaching every people group. Night and Day prayer is filling the earth. All of this is happening on a global scale for the first time in human history leading to one question:  what is the role of the church in this hour?

The controversy around Jerusalem will require this generation to answer some serious questions: What is a biblical understanding of Israel and the Middle East? Why does this regional conflict have global implications? How does the conflict relate to the global church? What role does the rise of Islam play in the region? Why do political solutions always fall short? How do we address social justice in a biblical framework? What does the Bible say about the future of Jerusalem? Join us to explore the answer to these questions and many others.

The OneKing Israel Intensive is an immersive experience for young adults into the very heart of the Middle East. It is a unique chance to experience what God is doing and develop a gospel centered approach to Israel, Islam, and the nations.

The Accommodations

Christ Church Guesthouse

While in Jerusalem, attendees will stay at the Christ Church guesthouse in the Old City in Jerusalem. Christ Church is host to the oldest Protestant church in the Middle East and provides a secluded retreat just inside the walls of the Old City. Christ Church provides a quiet atmosphere for reflection and connecting with leaders and others who are a part of the intensive. It is also just a few minutes walk from the Western Wall and Temple Mount complex and right next to the modern Mamilla Mall which offers shopping and dining.
Inside the gates of Christ Church, guests discover a tranquil courtyard amongst shady trees, flowers and historic buildings. Christian staff members from around the world serve and minister to guests touring the Christ Church complex, and those staying in the Guest House. Facing the Guest House is the 19th century Christ Church – the first Protestant Church in the Middle East – where visitors can pray, or just bask in the unique atmosphere of one of the jewels of Jerusalem’s undiscovered places. The church is home to a number of weekly worship services. Next to the Church is the Minister’s House, which served as the first British Consulate in Israel.

Within the Guest House, visitors can enjoy refreshments or full meals in the Coffee Shop, and living accommodations are comfortable with rooms furnished in the Ottoman style.

Ein Gev Resort

While in the Galilee attendees will stay at the Ein Gev Resort. The Ein Gev offers modest rooms located right on the Sea of Galilee. Ein Gev includes one of the only private beaches on the Sea of Galilee and attendees have the option of beach time at the private beach during the stay there.
